HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Human Trafficking is the exploitation by force, fraud or coercion of vulnerable people for forced labor, domestic servitude or commercial sex operations.

Clues that may help you identify a possible trafficing victim:

1) Accompanied by a controlling person or boss: not speaking on own behalf
2.) Lack of control over personal schedule, money, I.D., travel documents
3) Transported to and from work; lives and works in the same place
4) Debt owed to employer/crew leader; inability to leave job
5) Bruises, depression, fear, overly submissive

I like the picture and I'm interest in the book and articles.
When shopping and going to your car with an arm full of gifts be careful of all the people watching
you ,you never know when they will try to get to you to get the gifts to sell.

This list is frightening. It's scarey to think how easily a person can be manipulated.

The fact that human trafficking is a reality in our word is frightening indeed.
Good luck with your book!!

I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book because of the controversial subject matter but I've heard nothing but good things about it. It takes a good writer to be able to take such an unpleasant subject and find a way to get your message across. It has definitely been added to my TBR list. My hat's off to you for raising people's awareness of a growing problem.

Commenting! I have personal experience with this - not me, but someone I know - and human trafficking is horrific.

Not something a person wants to believe can really happen, though we know it does. It's wonderful that you are raising awareness and in a way that appears informative yet entertaining - the best way to teach, in my opinion.

I'm visiting from LASR. Thanks for posting the link over there.
